The MD Eastern Shore Ruff Ryders was founded on October 1st 2005 by David Scott and Ben Tate jr. Both of these men felt the need to start an organization dedicated to sport bike riding and community service. The Ruff Ryders seemed like a natural fit for both of them so a new Maryland chapter was formed.

Along with the two founding members came the charter members who were: Marvin Briddell, Mike Clark, Dean Johnson, Art Lawrence, Eric Massey, Willard Morris, Tracy Smiley, Robert Taylor and Mark Young.  As a chapter, these founding fathers have and will continue to provide guidance and leadership to their community and to new chapter members.
